A spell of decent weather led to a suggestion that we all get out for a hillwalk in Glencoe. Toezi picked the two Munros on Beinn a Bheithir, and even though Steg and I had done them before, they are a great day out.
I picked the boys up at 0730ish, and we loaded up and headed out for Glencoe, stopping at the Green Welly for a second breakfast. We arrived in Ballachulish at 0945 and we were walking through the village towards the hill at 1000. The morning was beautiful and clear, and there wasn't much wind.

We started the steep ascent onto the ridge of Sgorr Bhan, only stopping to see a common lizard and a couple of Typhoons roaring up the glen.

The views along to Glencoe were hazy, but it was lovely in the sun and out of the wind.

We carried on up the steep slopes and we were on the summit of Sgorr Dhearg for 1245, with hardly a breath of wind. The clouds started to come over on our descent to the bealach, but that didn't worry us, the forecast was good. We made the summit of Sgorr Dhonuill at 1350, and watched a sunbeam light the glen below.

We headed back for the bealach, which we made at 1430, then headed back down the glen and quietly past the forestry to get us onto the main track and the long walk to Ballachulish. We arrived back at the car at 1700, then it was off to the new Kingy for dinner, and a night in the glen.
